Chupra has 2 parking spaces accessible from Pedn Moran next to Alberts Lane footpath.

Should you need further parking, the main village carpark is at the bottom of Hill Head, next to The Rising Sun. 

Unfortunately, there is no electric charging point in St Mawes at the moment, the best places to charge are at the Tesla charging point in Penhale, just off the A30, (any vehicle make can charge here) or in Truro Calenick Street Car Park, there are also chargers at the Truro Tescos and St Austell Asda

Key collection - Fal Cottages will have sent you the access Code for Chupra.

The keys will be in the key safe, which is located on the right of the front door.  We suggest you put the key back into the key safe every time as the door will lock automatically when shut. Please return the keys to the safe upon your departure and scramble the code.,

Please make sure that children are not left unattended on the balcony.  There is a high drop!

Please be aware the log burner will get very hot.

There are two stair gates in the under stairs cupboard for your use.  Please help yourselves.

You will find under the stairs, our washer/dryer. Full instructions are in the following link.

Please leave the cupboard door open when using the dryer and never leave the washer / dryer on when no one is at Chupra.

The dry setting will only work efficiently with a half load. Or if you prefer there is a line out the back of Chupra, with pegs on the shelf under the stairs.

If requested these items should be left out for your use. If not and you need them, we keep them under the bed in the twin bedroom. Stairgates are found under the stairs, you will need to attach the feet for stability. We use these for Kids & dogs!

You will find the general waste bins behind the back of the house, please use black bin bags (under the sink in the kitchen) 

Please bag all waste, loose waste cannot be collected. Please fill the black bin bags as full as possible to aid collection.

Please can you recycle your plastic, tins, bottles & Paper, there are green bags under the sink for these. Please place these bags in the bins too as they will all be collected together.

Please can you clean up after your dog, 

There is a dog waste bin on Pedn Moran for dog waste, you can find dog bags in the dog box under the stairs. 

Via Air Source Heat Pump

We have set the heating to a comfortable temperature, but should you need to adjust, please use the control panels, outside bed 2 for downstairs heating or just at the top of the stairs for the underfloor heating upstairs. The control panel will show the current area temperature, to adjust press the up/down arrows followed by the tick. The radiators can also be manually operated in each room separately. 

There should be plenty of hot water, and should it run cooler, please wait about 30 mins for it to heat again.

 Please be aware the log burner gets very hot when it is alight, Please monitor small children and dogs.  Logs can be purchased at the co-op in the village.

Chupra has 3 TVs, If you log into any streaming services please remember to log out before you head home.

Please see below link on how to work the Samsung TVs, You will be able to access live TV via the BBC / ITV apps.

Upstairs Samsung, there is remote in front of the tv which will control the tv and sound bar.

Snug TV remote will be on one of the pink side tables.

The Main Bedroom TV is an app only tv via hmdi cable, again please remember to log out of any streaming services before you leave.

The outdoor lights for the balcony can be found upstairs to the left of the kitchen Bifold door. 

The lights for the downstairs terrace are in the snug just to the right of the sliding door. 

The sensor lights for the front door and around the back are just inside the front door, 

The path light at the bottom of the steps will come on automatically at sunset.

Please be aware that the gardener may come to cut the lawns / maintain the flowerbeds during your stay. They may be there for between 1 & 2 hours and will do their best not to disturb you. Please let me know if you are not comfortable with having the gardener in and I will delay them for a week.  

There is a coal BBQ for you to enjoy outside cooking,  the local co-op in St Mawes has a plentiful supply of coal. 

Please dispose of your cold ash on the compost heap, it must be cold!. All the BBQ implements & tools can be found in the basket on the trolly under the balcony. 

Please use the BBQ outside and not under the balcony, and please make sure you leave the BBQ clean to avoid any additional cleaning fees.

Please note that the use of the bbq and associated equipment is at your own risk.

There is a dining table and chairs outside on the terrace as well as on the balcony.  Please use the covers for the upstairs seating if rain is due.

There are two parasols for use on the balcony and the downstairs terrace.  please ensure they are down with the covers on if its windy or when you leave Chupra

Under the balcony, you can find the table tennis table, The bats & balls are hanging in the understairs cupboard. We know some players are very enthusiastic and consequently balls can be lost! However we are unable to provide any more, but Trago Mills in Falmouth is a good place to replace them, and it’s a lovely ferry ride too!

There are a number of beach items you are welcome to use in the first shed you come to from the front door.  Please return everything to the shed after use for our next guests to enjoy.

We love having dogs to stay & hope you enjoy your holiday with your furry friends. Chupra’s garden is fully enclosed and very dog friendly, & we have some beautiful walks nearby. 

Maximum of 2 dogs., and please respect these following requests to keep our home enjoyable for everybody.

We would prefer that you keep your dog off the soft furnishings.

Please keep dogs out of bedrooms and on no account are dogs allowed on beds.

In case you have a wet & muddy pup there is a hose / dog wash just next to the terrace, we have provided a stairgate & some doggie towels for your use, please wash & dry for the next doggie guests. 

Please don’t leave them alone in the house, as anxious dogs have caused damage in the past, if you are exploring places not so dog friendly` we have an amazing local doggie daycare centre, their link is below, Kentwonedogs.co.uk, Hannah 07827683908, who will take great care of them. 

Please can you pick up your dog waste daily, we have provided bags in the under stairs cupboard and a dog waste bin can be found at the top of Pedn Moran.  ///worldwide.raced.backfired

You can take your dogs to Harbour Beach any time of the year, however, Dogs are banned on Summers Beach from 1st July to 31st August (10am to 6pm). Dogs are banned totally on Tavern Beach from Easter Day to 1st October.

Please can you vacate Chupra by 10am, ensuring all the downstairs doors are locked and the front door key is in the key safe, with the code scrambled.
